Anna Wright grew up in Dumfriesshire and graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2006 with a degree in illustration.
Since then Anna has established a reputation for her original mixed-media artworks combining illustration with a variety of materials from feathers, fabrics and ribbon. With her instantly recognisable style, Anna's birds, animals and costumes are a colourful mix of collage and illustration.
Growing up in the countryside her interest in 'textiles, interiors, food, wildlife, the outdoors and anything a little silly' has inspired beautifully drawn artworks, full of character and an irresistible sense of humour.
Anna regularly exhibits with GrandyArt at The Animal Art Fair in May, The Affordable Art Fair in Battersea and our annual Under a Grand exhibition in November.
